Hey dad Thats what I meant about predictable conservatism the other night when Teri was dominating that poker game, Nothing to do with money , just sayin your not a spur of the moment road trip kind of guy.. I wish Mike would call and say lets go to Belize tomorrow ,, Id be like ,well, OK .. We need some golf course pics Speedster .. Maybe we can dad down that way for some serious golf

Wish I could get more of the youth running them. One time and they'd be hooked. It's for all ages though. First race (5K) I was running up the Bridge and some little girl and her dad passed me. Girl probably came up to my hip. I passed them on the way back down, and then she came flying pass me at the finish line. I told Wendy about this little girl. So we looked her up and she was 7. She finished first in her age group at a 8.25 mile pace.

This is the bridge they ran over. Double Pumpers ran over and back then over it again. The bridge has a 5.5% incline grade. Pretty steep.

This man absolutely won everyone's heart! He was in the 5k and finished! Everyone was yelling and cheering for him as he got close to the finish line. A lot of people had tears in their eyes.

New blood in the race...Kristen: Where are you working? Race starts at 3PM, Right Shermie...Dont bring the rain please...I think I saw Rece and Dick running around the park this morning...OR they might have been looking for their cars from a long night at the legion. David & Holmes will run if we have a FATBOYS event...They could run with Evan, Fat Danny, Brett Johnson, Harpo, DogMan, RECE, Timmy Tucker and JOHN BROWNING.....I think we should start a SENIORS Relay team...Could include BigSherm, BigFoot, RICHARD, and myself...BIGMARE could be our sleeper.

No, Johnny cannot walk. He's a Trotter. I bet Morgan & Timmy will walk it with you. I'm going to run and walk it with Tim earlier in the week. Going to start getting his time every year! He's going to be a runner. He'll beat Dusty's best race time by the time he's 18. Nothing from Emily or Maddy Yet, interesting.

No run for me this year with a cast on my arm. I would love to have some kids walk it with me though! How about it dougie, delaney, lil rece, savannah and emily? Big kids can walk it with us too, Missy, Dennis, Rece, Angela, Angie, Todd, Steve and Cathy. The more the merrier!

OoooHhhhh! Little Smack talk ah? Raining like heck here in Columbia. But going to do 6 miles on treadmill in a couple minutes. While you're at IHOP getting the tripple stack. Ate the runners diet last night. Roadhouse Hot wings and 3 monster Yueglings. And already proccessed it this morning. Will go utilize the protien and grain for the morning run. Waiting out the the tropical rain storm so I can travel over to Greenville & back today. Still weighing 215, should be 205 by Trot Day barring no sickness or injury. Going to run 10 milers next couple of Sundays.

Well lets see, I'm back up to 191 pounds- about 15 more than I was 2 months ago. I've ran 4 times since August 10. I've got the crud lung for 3 weeks now, cant get over it from all the traveling.
But anyway all that said- I still plan to bring home 1st. May have to let L.Sherm compete in the senior bracket so he can win one.

Thats funny Shermie....T-Todd in the race..I still have some times from 2007 that I did not post..David came by today and looking good....He might run if Holmes will...But it gets dark about 6PM, they might make it to the Park since its downhill, BUT the LEGION is very close to the park..They would make a PITSTOP and call for a ride....Missy & Dougie furnised the water at the half-way last year around the Armory..I will buy the WATER...Not Beer, Lots of grain in beer...K&K should have a cookout for this event and tie in a Chili Cook-off..I can win that...Timmy Tucker should enter this race. It would be real funny if BRETT JOHNSON would run, but we would have to have an AMBULANCE following his fat a$$.....I did good today, cut a minute and drove it in 13 minutes flat.
